Investment philosophy
Hesham Zreik on technical understanding, founders, execution and patient involvement.
Understand the work
My perspective begins with technical understanding. Building software teaches you that a promising description is only the beginning: a product has to be designed, built, tested and improved in the real world. I try to understand the problem a team is solving and the work required to solve it.
Back founders who execute
Founders carry the daily responsibility of turning a direction into progress. I look for clarity, persistence and a willingness to learn from what the market and the product reveal. Good execution is rarely one decision; it is a series of disciplined choices over time.
Stay involved with patience
My experience spans company building, technology and work with founders. Where I can be useful, I prefer practical involvement: asking useful questions, sharing what I have learned and helping teams work through the next challenge. Building a company takes time, so I value patient, constructive relationships over short-term narratives.
